Is self-drive car rental available in Mizoram?
We do not offer self-drive hire. Mizoram’s roads are steep, narrow and prone to landslides in the monsoon, so every vehicle is rented with a certified local driver who knows the gradients and the seasonal detours.
Do you provide pick-ups from Lengpui Airport to Aizawl?
Yes. Lengpui Airport (AJL) to Aizawl is about 35 km and takes roughly 75 to 90 minutes. We run airport pick-ups and drops around the clock, and the driver meets you at arrivals with a name board.
Which vehicle should I hire for a Mizoram tour?
For two to three travellers on paved routes, the Swift Dzire or WagonR is enough. For a family on a multi-day itinerary, the Innova Crysta is the most comfortable. For Phawngpui, Reiek or remote village tracks, choose the Bolero or Bolero Neo. Groups take the 12-seater Traveller or the 30-seater bus.
Do tourists need an Inner Line Permit to travel in Mizoram?
Indian travellers from outside Mizoram need an Inner Line Permit (ILP), and foreign nationals must register on arrival. We handle the ILP paperwork for every tour booking before you land — send a photo ID and one passport photograph.
What does the car rental rate include?
The quote covers the vehicle, the driver and their allowance, road tax, and pick-up and drop at your Aizawl address. Fuel beyond the quoted kilometres, driver night halt outside Aizawl, entry fees, parking, inter-state permits and waiting time beyond the agreed schedule are charged separately.
